3D Mesh

A 3D mesh obtained by a scanner is a digital representation of an object, surface, or environment created through the process of 3D scanning.

What is the role of 3D mesh in the digital world?
The interconnected vertices, edges, and faces of a 3D mesh define the shape and structure of the scanned subject in three-dimensional space. Acting as the cornerstone for numerous digital applications such as visual effects, virtual reality, and computer-aided design, it enables precise replication and manipulation of real-world objects within virtual environments.
We can provide the 3D mesh obtained directly from the scanner, or alternatively, we can treat it through retopology to adapt it for web applications and VFX. Retopology involves optimizing the mesh to improve its efficiency, reduce its complexity, and ensure compatibility with different platforms and software tools
